Chapter 10:
The 8th plague is locust. The locust devoured the residue of all the greenery remaining from the hail. The East wind arrived in the locust and the West wind removed the locust and hurled them I to the Sea of Reeds. Pharaoh’s servants urge Pharaoh to send out the people.
The 9th plague is darkness. The darkness was “tangible/felt” for a 3 day period. No man could see his brother nor could they rise from their place. The Children of Israel had light in their dwellings. Pharaoh tells Moses to leave but to eave the flock and cattle. Moses tells Pharaoh you will even place feast offerings and burnt offerings in our hands. Not a hoof will be left.
Chapter 11:
The children of Israel requested from their neighbors vessels of silver and gold (redemption) and (righteousness). Moses tells Pharaoh that all the first born of Egypt from Pharaoh’s son to the maidservant who is at the millstone and to all of the beasts of the field will die. YHVH will make a distinction between Egypt and Israel.
Chapter 12:
YHVH declares the beginning of months for the year. YHVH instructs the children of Israel of the Pesach offering. The 10th of the 1st month is the day you select the lamb/kid for the Pesach offering. An unblemished lamb/kid, male, within 1st first year. It shall be examined u tilt he 14th day of the 1st month. The entire assembly of the Children of Israel will assemble shall slaughter it in the afternoon. They shall some of its blood and place it on the 2 door posts and the lintel of the houses in which they will eat it.. They shall eat its flesh that night. Roasted over fire, and matzos, with bitter herbs shall they eat it.
They shall not eat it partially roasted r cooked in water. Only roasted over fire it’s head, it’s legs with its innards. You shall not leave any of it over until morning. Any of it left over until kmorning you shall burn in the fire.
You shall eat it with your loins girded, shoes on your feet, staff in hours hand; you shall eat it n haste.
YHVH will go through the land of Egypt on this night, and I shall strike the firstborn in the land of Efypt from man to beast; and against all the gods if Egypt I shall mete out punishment — I am YHVH. (Verse 12).
The blood shall be a sign for you upon the houses where you are. WhenI shall see the blood and I shall pass if you; there shall not be a plague of destruction upon you when I stre in the land of Egypt. (Verse 13).
This shall be a day of Rembrandt for you and you shall celebrate it as a festival for YHVH. For you generations as an eternal decree shall you celebrate it. For a seven day period shall you eat matzos, but on the previous day you shall nullify the leavening from your homes. For anyone who eats leavening that should shall be cutoff from Israel, from the 1st day to the 7th day. (Verses 14-15).
On the first day shall be a holy convocation and on the seventh day shall be a holy convocation for you, no work may be done on them, except for what must be amen for any person — only that may be done for you. (Verse 16).
You shall safeguard the matzos, for on this very day I will have taken your legions t of the lad of Egypt; you shall observe this day for your generations as an eternal decree. In the first month on the 14th day of the month in the evening shall you eat matzos, until the 21st day of the month in the evening. (Verse 17-18).
For seven days, leaven may not be found in your houses, for anyone who eats leavening — that soul shall be cut off from the assembly of Israel, whether a convert or A native of the land. You shall not eat any leavening; in all your dwelling shall you eat matzos. (Verses 19-20).
A bundle of hyssop was to be taken and dipped n the blood of the Pesach offering, and touched to the 2 door posts and the lintel. O man was to eave the entrance of his house until morning. YHVH will pass through to smite Egypt, and He will see the blood that is on the lintel and the two door
Osts; and YHVH will pass over the entrance and He will it permit the destroyer to enter your homes to smite. You shall observe this matter as a decree for yourself and for your children forever. (Verses 22-23).
Pharaoh called to Moses and Aaron at night and said, Rise up, go out from among my people, even you, even the Children of Israel; go and serve YHVH S you have spoken! Take even your sheep and even your cattle as you have spoken, and go — and bless me, as well. (Verses 31-32).
The children of Israel traveled from Ramses to Succoth, 600,000 men on foot and children, a mixed multitude. They had dwelled inEgypt for 430 years.
This is the decree of the Pesach offering:
1. No alienated person ms eat of it.
2. Every slave of a man, who was bought for money, you shall circumcise him; then he shall eat of it
3. A sojourner and a hired laborer may not eat it
4. In one house shall it be eaten; you shall not remove any of the meat from the house to the outside
You shall not break a bone in it
5 the entire assembly shall perform it
6 when a proselyte sojourns among you he shall make the Pesach offering for YHVH, each of his males shall e circumcised, and then he may draw near to perform it and he shall be like the native of the land.
7. No uncircumcised male shall eat of it.
8. One law shall there be for the native and the proselyte who lives among you.
YHVH took the Children of Israel out of the land of Egypt, in their legions.
