Chapter 2 – Ezekiel (#3168 – YHVH will strengthen)
1. YHVH says to Ezekiel, son of man (Adam), stand on your feet and I will speak to you.
2. A spirit (ruach) entered into him as YHVH spoke to him and it stood him on his feet (when the ruach of YHVH enters us, the same thing occurs. In the presence of YHVH we bow. We cannot stand in the presence of YHVH unless HE commands it.) and I heard that which was being spoken to me.
3. YHVH tells Ezekiel he is being sent to the Children of Israel, to the rebellious nations (remember: each tribe produces a nation within the whole house called “The Children of Israel”) that have rebelled against him, they and their fathers have defiantly sinned against Me to this very day (the same is true to this very day as with them, so it is true with us).
4. The children are brazen-faced and hard-hearted. I send you to them (go into the world because that is where they are). You shall say to them thus says YHVH.
5. Now they, whether they will heed or refrain; for a rebellious house are they – they will know that a prophet has been among them (they cannot say they did not know, or if only someone would have told us).
6. But you, do not fear their words-though they are thorns and thistles to you (they pierce and scratch and are abrasive) and among scorpions do you dwell (they are poisonous), do not fear their words and do not be intimidated before them thought they are a rebellious house (note: YHVH isn’t speaking to the world, though the house/tribes can now be found there, he is speaking to those who call themselves believers.)
7. Speak YHVH’s words to them, whether they will obey, or refrain-for they are rebellious.
8. And you son of man (adam) heed that which I speak to you, do not be rebellious like the rebellious house. Open your mouth and eat (feed on) what I give you.
9. Then I saw (revealed) and behold (mystery) a hand (authority) was outstretched (extended) to me and behold (mystery) in it was a scroll (word) of parchment.
10. He spread it out before me (laid it open for me to see, read) it was inscribed within and without (did not say back and front, but within and without. Meaning: the scroll-word on the parchment-our heart and mind is inscribed/engraved from the inside out) and in it was inscribed (written) lamentations, moaning, woe (the lamentations, moanings, woe of YHVH for his people.
