As Samuel grew in the Lord, he did not speak without purpose or understanding. YHVH let all of Samuel’s word come to pass.
How many things do we say in jest, or in anger, or make a blind oath, or speak with knowledge but without understanding, only to regret those words later.
YHVH allowed Joshua to speak to the sun by not letting it set. He forgave those who crucified Jesus, and those who stoned Stephen, but not letting there words to fall to the ground.
This is very important.
