Holy Spirit’s Purpose

The Purpose of the Holy Spirit
Yeshua tells the disciples before the Passover and his cruxifiction that YHVH will send a Helper, the Holy Spirit that will abide with us forever.   (John 14:16)
      “And I will pray the Father, and He will give you another Helper, that He may abide with you forever—
The Holy Spirit is sent by YHVH, and is a Helper to us.  The Holy Spirit will teach us all things and bring to our remembrance all things that Yeshua said to us.  (John 14:26)
       “But the Helper, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in My name, He will teach you all things, and bring to your remembrance all things that I said to you.

The Holy Spirit teaches us to compare spiritual things with spiritual.  (1 Cor 2:13).
    These things we also speak, not in words which man’s wisdom teaches but which the Holy[fn] Spirit teaches, comparing spiritual things with spiritual.
Yeshua tells the disciples that if He doesn’t go away then the Helper (Holy Spirit) will not come to us, until He sends the Holy Spirit to us.  When the Holy Spirit comes He will convict the world of sin, and of righteousness and of judgment.  Of Sin because we do not believe in Him; of Righteousness because Yeshua goes to the Father and we will see him no more; Of judgment because the ruler of this world is judged.   (John 16:7 – 11)

“Nevertheless I tell you the truth. It is to your advantage that I go away; for if I do not go away, the Helper will not come to you; but if I depart, I will send Him to you.

“And when He has come, He will convict the world of sin, and of righteousness, and of judgment:

  “of sin, because they do not believe in Me;

“of righteousness, because I go to My Father and you see Me no more;

“of judgment, because the ruler of this world is judged.

The ruler is referenced to Luke 10:18 and I personally referenced Eph 6:12.
     And He said to them, “I saw Satan fall like lightning from heaven. (Luke 10:18)
     For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this age,[fn] against spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places. (Eph 6:12)
