- Placed in Eden (paradise) to dress it and to keep it. (Gen 2: 15)
- Name every living creature – by doing so not only did Adam name the creatures, but what he saw in them, he called them by that name and in doing so he made what was potential, actual and physical in them and therefore establish there identity. (Gen 2:19)
- Woman taken out of man – echad, 2 become one, but also 1 becomes two; Bone of my bones; flesh of my flesh, Woman only creature not directly formed from the ground; Eve – mother of all the living;(Gen 2:23).
- Spiritual leader – river went out of Eden and became 4 head waters;
Third Covenant
Noadic – Noah (Noah’s name means rest, Lamech, Noah’s father named him such and stated: “This one will bring us rest from our work and from the toil of our hands, from the ground which YHVH has cursed.” This as a result of the fall by Adam and Eve
Premise of the flood:
- YHVH reconsidered having made man (Gen 6:6-7)
During the flood:
- Flood starting on the 2nd moth of the 17th day of the month, in the 600th year of Noah’s life. (Gen 7:11)
- YHVH shut the door to the Ark on his behalf (Gen 7:16)
- After 40 days the flood waters were so great that the Ark was above the mountains; the waters continued for 150 days. (Gen 7:17-20)
- The waters subsided and began to recede; the waters diminished at the end of 150 days; the Ark came to rest in the 7th month on the 17th day of the month, upon the maintains of Ararat; the waters continuously diminished until the 10th month; In the 10th month, on the 1st of the month the mountains became visible; (Gen 8:3-5)

After the flood
Go forth from the Ark, you, your wife, your sons, and your sons’ wives; Everyy living being of all flesh, birds, animals, all moving things order them out and let them teem on earth and be fruitful and multiply on earth; (Gen 8:15-17); – there by re-establishing the covenant of Adam.
- Noah built an alter to YHVH and took of every clean animal and of every clean bird and offered burnt offerings on the alter; YHVH smelled the pleasing aroma and YHVH said in His heart: “I will not contine to curse again the ground because of man, since the imagery of man’s heart is evil from his youth; nor will I again continue to smith every living being as I have done. Continuously, all the days of the earth, seedtime and harvest, cold and heat, summer and winter, day and night, shall not cease.” (Gen 8:21-22)
- All flesh shall not be cut off anymore by the waters of a flood; neither shall there anymore be a flood to destroy the earth; (Gen 9:11)
- A sign of this covenant/promise by YHVH that He would no longer destroy the entire earth again by water, he gave us the rainbow. (Gen 9:12-17)

Premise – Abram left his father’s house, from your relatives and from the land, (Haran), that he currently resided to a land that YHVH was to show him. (Gen 12:1)
- YHVH promises to Abraham:
- I will show you (the land)
- I will make you a great nation
- I will bless you and make your name great and you shall be a blessing
- I will bless those who bless you and him who curses you I will curse; and all the families of the earth shall bless themselves by you.
YHVH through Abraham shows that through patience, waiting, and obedience, HE will grant to us those things that he has promised:
- “I will surely return to you at this time next year, and behold Sarah your wife will have a son.” (Gen 18:10) — This after Ishmael was born and the way of woman has ceased in Sarah.
- Abraham intercedes for Sodom and Gomorrah – to save the righteous from being stamped out because they reside with the wicked (Gen 18:17-33)
Established the sign of his covenant with Abraham – circumcision;
Every male among you shall be circumcised. You shall circumcise the flesh of your foreskin and that shall be the sign of the covenant between Me and you. At the age of eight days every male among you shall be circumcised throughout your generations; He that is born in the household or purchased with money from any stranger who is not of your offspring. He that is born in your household or purchased with your money shall surely be circumcised. Thus My covenant shall be in your flesh for an everlasting covenant. (Gen 17:10-14)
YHVH also tested Abraham to see if Abraham would withhold anything from YHVH
“Do not stretch out your hand against the lad nor do anything to him for now I Know that you are a God-fearing man, since you have not withheld your son, your only one from Me.” (Gen 22:12) – This is a foreshadowing of what YHVH was to do for us with Yashua.

David also shows the repentant man;
